DESCRIPTION:Over dit evenement\nWe gaan weer lekker duiken in contactimprovisatie. (Info over wat contactimpro inhoudt staat onderaan.) Dit keer zal de ervaren c.i.-dansdocent Loby Lam de workshop geven.\nWe spelen met het delen van gewicht, het volgen van inspiratie en het ontdekken van lifts die als vanzelf ontstaan.\nCentraal staat de vraag: Hoe beweeg je zo minimalistisch en ambitieloos mogelijk maar tegelijkertijd bewust blijven hoe je in contact blijft met de ander én met jezelf?\nDe workshop bestaat uit behapbare spelletjes en oefeningen. Het is toegankelijk voor beginners én voor mensen met meer ervaring. Zijn achtergrond combineert muziek, breakdance, theaterimpro en Aikido met Contact Improvisatie. Om 14.15 start de workshop die rond 16.15 uur overgaat in een jam = vrij dansen. Het is mogelijk om alleen met de jam mee te doen. De jam duurt tot ongeveer 17.45 uur. Hiernaast is een parkeergarage waar je de auto of fiets gratis kunt parkeren onder het gebouw, tot 18.00 uur. Zodra je de Edisonstraat in gaat zie je na 30 meter rechts de garage (komende vanaf de Marconilaan). Je loopt daarna de garage weer uit en gaan links af en loopt zo om het zwarte gebouw, De Obelix, heen. Dat is het flatgebouw op de kruising van de Marconilaan en de Boschdijk. De toegansgpoort is rechts naast De Obelix, in de hoek (links naast café Bosporos). Achter de poort zie je een trappenhuis.\nBel aan bij nummer 4B en we openen de deur voor jou. Vervolgens loop je de trap met grote treden op. Boven ga je links de hoek om en loop je rechtdoor over het groene pleintje en zie je de studio. Er staat 4B in het groen op het raam.\nContactimprovisatie\nHet is een vrije dansvorm: het hoeft er niet op een bepaalde manier uit te zien. Iedere dans is weer anders. Je ontdekt wat er in het moment kan ontstaan aan beweging vanuit jezelf. Dat kan rustig, voelend zijn, maar ook energiek en/of speels.\nIn contact met anderen ontdek je hoe je samen kunt bewegen. Anderen geven je meer mogelijkheden om te bewegen: je kunt elkaar spiegelen of juist niet, een gezamenlijke beweging maken, elkaars gewicht delen, over elkaar heen rollen, draaibewegingen maken, enz.\nAls je beide aan blijft voelen hoe de ander beweegt en dat als inspiratie gebruikt, kan er een dans ontstaan die zichzelf lijkt te sturen.\n____________________________________________________\nWe’re diving back into contact improvisation! This time a workshop will be offered bij the experienced dance teacher Loby Lam.\nWe play with sharing weight, following inspiration, and discovering lifts that arise naturally.\nThe central question is: How do you move as minimalistic and ambitiously-free as possible, while staying consciously connected to the other and to yourself?\nThe workshop consists of bitesize games and exercises. It is accessible for beginners and those with more experience alike. At the top, turn left around the corner and walk straight across the green courtyard.\nYou’ll see the studio—look for “4B” in green on the window.\nContact Improvisation\nIt’s a free-form dance: there’s no set way it should look. Each dance is different. You discover what movement can arise in the moment from within yourself.\nIn contact with others, you explore how to move together. Others offer you more possibilities for movement: you can mirror each other—or not—create shared movement, share weight, roll over one another, spin together, and more. It can be gentle and sensing, or energetic and playful.\nIf both dancers stay attuned to how they want to move and how the other moves—and use that as inspiration—a dance can emerge that seems to guide itself.\n
